Schedules

• Group Lessons: JA Badminton group lessons run in 2-month periods.

• Players are required to commit to the full term.

• Competitive Program: Players must be committed to the full season which runs from Sept-June.

  • *Note: If players choose to discontinue lessons, they must inform JA Badminton at least 1 week before the term ends, as players are automatically enrolled in the same group lesson for the next term.
     

Payment

• Group Lessons: Payment is due in full upon registration for each term.

• Private Lessons: Payment is due in full upon confirmation of the lesson. Payments can be made prior to the lesson.

• Payments can be made through the following methods:​

  • Credit/Debit Card

 

Cancellations

• Group Lessons:

  • If a player cannot attend a scheduled class, they must inform JA Badminton at least 24 hours before the session so that coaches can plan accordingly.

• Private Lessons: 

  • If a player cannot attend a scheduled private lesson, they must inform the coach at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the lesson fee. This period allows other players sufficient time to book the slot.

 

Note: If the coach has to cancel under unforeseeable circumstances, players will be informed ASAP and offered alternative days/times to reschedule their lesson.

 

Make-Up Lessons

• Group Lessons: If a player misses a class, they are entitled to a maximum of 2 make-up classes that can be redeemed in the following term (ie: missed 2 classes for Sept/Oct - player can join 2 classes in Nov/Dec). 

  • No refunds will be applicable.
    
     

Refund Policy
 

a) Group Lessons

• All group lesson registrations are considered final once payment has been received.

• Refund requests submitted prior to the start of a term may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a $30 administration fee.

• No refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be provided once a term has commenced, except in cases of medical circumstances supported by a doctor's note and approved by JA Badminton management.

• Missed classes are eligible for make-up classes in accordance with the Make-Up Lesson Policy and are not eligible for refunds.

• If JA Badminton cancels a class and a suitable make-up class cannot be provided, a credit may be issued toward future programs at JA Badminton's discretion.

 

b) Private Lessons

• Private lesson payments are non-refundable once a lesson has been confirmed.

• Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled without penalty, subject to coach availability.

• Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will be subject to a charge equal to 50% of the lesson fee.

• No-shows without prior notice will be charged 100% of the lesson fee.

• If a coach must cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the player.

 

c) Memberships

• All JA Badminton memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and remain valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

 

d) General

• JA Badminton reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule programs, lessons, or events when necessary due to facility requirements, coach availability, weather conditions, public health requirements, or other circumstances beyond its control.

• Any approved refunds will be issued using credit or the original method of payment whenever possible and may take up to 14 business days to process.

 

Please note: By registering for JA Badminton group lessons and/or private lessons, you agree to abide by the policies outlined above.
