Schedules/Payments

• Group Lessons: JA Badminton group lessons run in 2-month periods. Players are required to commit to the full term.

○ If players choose to discontinue lessons, they must inform JA Badminton at least 1 week before the term ends, as players are automatically enrolled in the same group lesson for the next term.

Payment

• Group Lessons: Payment is due in full upon registration for each term.

• Private Lessons: Payment is due in full upon confirmation of lesson. Payments can be made prior to lesson.

• Payments can be made through the following methods

  • • Cash

    • Etransfer

    • Cheque

Cancellations

• Group Lessons: If a player cannot attend a scheduled class, they must inform JBA at least 24 hours before the session so that coaches can plan accordingly.

• Private Lessons: If a player cannot attend a scheduled private lesson, they must inform the coach at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the lesson fee. This period allows other players sufficient time to book the slot.

○ If the coach has to cancel under unforeseeable circumstances, players will be informed ASAP and offered alternative days/times to reschedule their lesson.

By signing up for JA Badminton lessons I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily in badminton/physical activities. In Consideration of my participation in these activities, I hereby waive any and all claims that I may have against JA Badminton and its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, for any injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of my participation.

 

I understand that badminton is a physical activity that involves some risk of injury. I hereby release JA Badminton and its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all liability for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of my participation in these activities.​​
